No more standing on the Rehoboth boardwalk wondering where to find the closest happy hour, bathroom, or free WiFi. The Rehoboth in My Pocket travel guide App works on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, and currently includes listings for more than 100 Rehoboth Beach (and nearby) restaurants, inns, and activities, with online GPS mapping to lead the way. Download the App here for just $3.99.
The great thing about smart phone travel guides is that they’re infinitely updateable, so you’ll always find new places to go and things to do in and around Rehoboth. Great new restaurant opens? We can let you know quickly. B&B changes ownership and heads into a death spiral? Poof! It’s out of here.
We’re focusing on expanding our Lodging, Shopping, and Tours & Culture category listings. And since Rehoboth is such a great walking town, we’re looking at adding some suggested walking routes, along with lots of winter season suggestions, and more options in Lewes, Dewey, and Bethany.
We also want to offer some suggestions for how Rehoboth-area visitors can give back to the community, beyond coming into town once a year and spending money. Money is very welcome, of course – we’re sure all the merchants would agree – but giving back to the places we visit gives us all a chance to connect more deeply with our experience of the place, so it helps not just Rehoboth, but ourselves as well. More to come on that.
For now, be sure to sign up for our blog posts and/or SWAG emails (we promise we won’t overdo it), let us know what YOU think should be included in the App here, and stay in touch. And, most of all, have a great time in Rehoboth!
