The high-season rate (minimum one week) is $1800, and the tariff drops to as low as $140/night (2 night minimum) or $853/week in winter season.
Each cottage sleeps six in two bedrooms and a loft (queen bed, two twins, and a queen in the semi-private loft).
Great for families or friends who don’t need to be in the center of the action, the cottages are 8 miles south of Rehoboth in Delaware Seashore State Park on the north side of Indian River Inlet.

Great value. Great feel.
Time was, Rehoboth Avenue west of Christian Street was a bit of a wasteland. Nameless Chinese restaurants, tattoo parlors, and nail salons took the less-valuable real estate, and the crowds gravitated east. But that’s changed now, with more and more restaurants popping up to keep Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats company, and the Hotel Rehoboth opening directly across from the Jack Lingo Realtors mega-building on Christian Street.
So the Crosswinds Motel, though four blocks (about a 15 minute walk) from the beach, now finds itself much more centrally-located, and with the fabulous Cultured Pearl restaurant (and Starbucks) right across the street.
With summer rates of $90 – $255 (and second-season rates running $50 – $90), Crosswinds is a good value, and gets great reviews, too. Recently renovated, the clean rooms include flat screen TVs, coffee makers, and mini fridges. What else do you need?

A spiritual awakening
One of the most popular small inns in Rehoboth, the Delaware Inn has seven stylish rooms in one of the best locations around for those who don’t want to miss a thing. Just two blocks from the beach and two blocks from Rehoboth Avenue, this is truly a park it and forget it kind of place.
There’s a big front porch with white rattan couches and rockers, a complimentary gentle yoga class led by the innkeeper (a certified teacher), breakfast (included) with a special hot entrée and hot and cold buffet each day. Gluten-free, vegetarian and other special diets are welcomed. And, in the evening, warm homemade cookies.
From mid-September through mid-May, Innkeeper Sharon invites individuals or small groups to book the inn for silent or directed spiritual retreats.

Everyone loves At Melissa’s.
